Privacy

The descriptions you type, the names we generate for you, and which ones you liked. That is what makes history, favourites and shortlists work — without it the product forgets you between sessions.

Your email and name come from your sign-in provider through Clerk, who handle authentication. If you subscribe, Stripe holds your payment details; we never see a card number.

We don’t sell your descriptions and we don’t register the names you look at. Availability checks go to the registry and come straight back to you.

We don’t train models on your descriptions. Generation calls go to Anthropic’s API under terms that exclude training on API traffic.

We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error reporting. Both record how the product is used — which screens, which actions, which failures — so we can fix what is broken. Neither receives your payment details.

A shortlist you share becomes a public page at an unguessable URL. Anyone with the link can open it without an account, and it is excluded from search engines. Deactivating it from your dashboard takes the page down immediately.

Deleting your account deletes your sessions, generated names, saved names, shortlists and watches. Email privacy@shipdomains.com and we’ll do it.
